Amrita had an unexpected, unplanned pregnancy and was very unsure what to do next. Amrita told those present that she wrote down a list of her questions and took them to a consultation at an abortion centre hoping to find some clarity. She shared the response she received: ‘If you want to have an abortion take the pill, if you don’t, don’t!’ With that incredibly uncompassionate advice she took the pill and within seconds regretted it. Thankfully Amrita obtained the Abortion Reversal Pill and her healthy little girl was brought on stage to wave to the pro-lifers. ‘I was one of those people that was like – why would anyone want children?’ Amrita told the crowd, but then continued ‘I’m now the type of person who’ll say having a child is the biggest blessing anyone could ask for’.
