Co-director of the event, Isabel Vaughan-Spruce had the unenviable task of coming on stage after Shawn Carney but she gave the crowd a brief lesson in how to end abortion. Whilst doing this Isabel spoke clearly about the facts of the issue ‘Inside the womb of every pregnant woman is a human being.’ she said ‘That’s not politics, that’s not religion, that’s science’. Isabel then had a message for the men attending: ‘You might be fed up with people saying you can’t speak on this issue and being told “No uterus no opinion”’ she continued ‘Let me tell you a secret. You don’t need a uterus to care about babies, you just need a heart’.
