Philip Booth is former Director of Catholic Mission, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences and Director of Research and is currently Professor of Finance, Public Policy and Ethics at St. Mary’s University. He teaches on the MA in Catholic Social Teaching and curates the website: www.catholicsocialthought.org.uk . He has previously held a variety of positions at other universities and think tanks. Philip is a fellow of the Royal Statistical Society and a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries. Amongst many other publications, he was a contributing author to “Having Your Say – Threats to Free Speech in the 21st Century”.
