Can you help us financially this Lent? We want to be frank with you – raising money isn’t just hard, it’s time consuming and at March for Life UK our small core team are incredibly busy right now juggling so many different projects. Apart from the huge amount of preparation needed for the annual march, we are also planning a National pro-life men’s conference and trying to promote it, helping organise various Rethink Abortion Days across the country, liaising with others to arrange post-abortion awareness training to priests and pastors, running our regular monthly pro-life radio show on Radio Maria, recording video testimonies for YouTube, co-ordinating speaking engagements across the country, mapping out stalls for events for over the summer so as to reach more young people as well as our co-director having her own court case to deal with and much, much more.

There are so many vitally important things for us to be doing, we don’t want to have to slacken the reins on any projects and we know with your help we won’t have to.

Perhaps this Lent you might consider:

• Donating what you would have spent on a weekly treat or a take-away coffee
• Offering the cost of a meal out
• Making a larger one-off Lenten gift
• Becoming a regular monthly supporter

Below you can see specific examples of what your gift could support – please have a look, and when you donate, let us know if there is something specific you would like us to use your money for and we will do our best to ensure it goes for that project.

£17,000 would cover the cost of the stage and sound system in Parliament Square – last year we had members of the public email afterwards to say how they had joined the event in Parliament Square because they’d been drawn in by speeches and music – you could fund all this for £17,000.

£8,000 could fund our security to ensure smooth and safe operations on the day of the annual march.

£6,000 could fund the running costs of our office and studio which produces so much online content.

£3,000 could cover the costs of a national mail drop to church leaders around the country and ensure priests and pastors are informed.

£2,000 could cover the costs of bringing an international speaker to share their testimony as we collaborate and learn from others on the impact of abortion.

£1,000 could help pay towards our media team who film the march.

£500 could fund the placards used for an annual march.

£150 could pay for the front banner of the march.

£75 could pay for our travel costs so we can bring you breaking pro-life news on buffer zone trials or covering other rallies like Rally for Life in Ireland.

£50 could pay for someone to travel to our studio to share their testimony. Testimonies are a very powerful way to share the prolife message and can often be a part of the healing process for someone who has been affected by abortion.

£25 could sponsor a young person to attend one of our events like our Men’s prolife Conference or a Rethink Abortion Training Day.
