March for Life UK Holds Solemn Witness in Parliament Square

On the anniversary of the Abortion Act, March for Life UK gathered in Parliament Square, London, for a solemn witness to remember the lives lost to abortion and all those affected by it. Standing peacefully in the heart of our nation’s capital, we came together to give a voice to the voiceless and to reaffirm the dignity and value of every human life.

This year’s theme for March for Life UK is “Abortion Hurts the Family”. The witness offered an opportunity to reflect on the far-reaching impact of abortion, not only on unborn children, but also on parents, families and wider society. We believe that every life matters and that those who are hurting deserve compassion, support and understanding.

We were honoured to be joined by politicians who spoke on camera, including Jacob Rees-Mogg, Carla Lockhart and Mary Glindon, alongside many pro-life leaders who came together to stand in solidarity for life. Their presence helped highlight the importance of continuing the conversation around abortion and its impact on individuals and families across the UK.

Through this public witness, we sought to ensure that the anniversary did not pass unnoticed. By standing together in Parliament Square, we remembered those who have been lost, acknowledged those who carry the pain of abortion, and renewed our commitment to building a culture in which every human life is welcomed, protected and valued.

At March for Life UK, we believe that our mission is not simply to change the law, but to change hearts and minds. By raising awareness, supporting families and offering a compassionate voice for both mother and child, we continue to work towards a society where abortion is unthinkable and every life is recognised as precious.
